This delicious fruit has tons of fat but good fat. Not only does it contain antioxidants and lowers blood pressure, but it also excellent for people that have digestive problems and excellent for skin, hair and nails.


And no, avocado won't make you fat. Rather it will provide your body with great nourishment.


Here are some healthy ways you can use it.

  1. In a salad. Cut it up in thin slices and mix with mixed greens, carrots, peppers, sprouts and any other veggies you like.

  2. As a spread. Keep your avocados out of a fridge until it turns ripe. Then spread it on a piece of whole wheat toast.

  3. As guacamole. This is one of the best snack foods for when your friends come over but also the most addictive so make sure you make lots of it. Guacamole usually contains at least 6 avocados, some onion, tomato, lime, salt, cilantro, and cayene paper for flavor.

  4. For breakfast. Use it as a side dish with your boiled or fried eggs. Gives extra flavor to the eggs and the mix of protein and good fat will create a great breakfast.

  5. Throw it on a pizza. A veggie pizza would only have extra flavoring with some avocado. Mix with some feta cheese and this stuff will be do die for.
