Guilt Free SugarHave you ever tried coconut sugar? It's made from the sap of the coconut palm. It's dark in colour but tastes just like regular sugar cane. It's an excellent substitute for sugar as it has a low glycemic index(GI). GI index determines how fast a carbohydrate is turned into glucose. It's GI is 35 where as anything under 55 is considered low. As a result it is excellent for diabetics. You can ditch Splenda and any other aspartame products that will eventually cause brain cancer and switch to this natural, safe sugar sweetener.
